Principal Researcher, Information Security Research Team

Dr. Chalee Vorakulpipat is currently a principal researcher within Information Security Research Team at National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC), Thailand. He held the position of Director at the Center of Research and Development within the Office of the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC). He has been involved in several projects in information security and personal data protection (including ThaiCERT), e-vaccine certificate, national e-science, mobile device management, social network, context-aware computing, e-health, and mobile application development. He has over 60 refereed publications in these areas. He also serves as a subcommittee member on issues regarding information security and digital transformation. In his academic role, he works as a lecturer for information systems courses at universities in Thailand. He has been a keynote speaker in several international security events. He holds professional certificates including CISSP, CISA, PMP and IRCA (ISMS Lead Auditor). He is a recipient of the 2019 (ISC)² Information Security Leadership Award. He earned PhD in information systems from the University of Salford.
