Derek Moore, CISSP

Derek Moore is Chief Technology Officer for the Palo Alto Unified School District, a role he assumed in 2014. During his tenure, he has directed projects such as account automation, single sign-on, incident response, wireless and wired network refresh, multifactor authentication, position control, communications and data visualization. He is the longest-standing member of the executive cabinet group in the district. When he’s not working, Derek can be found on the sidelines of a soccer field, cheering one of his three boys, or in the back yard in front of a smoker, cooking dinner for his family.
